Now, I don't know about all of you, but I'd like to still have the bar in one piece tomorrow morning. And if we don't come up aces on security, the burly miners who are going to pack the bar tonight probably aren't going to leave us with one.

Meaning: I need some volunteers to beef up our bouncing squad. I'm not going to be picky tonight, but remember that it might be rough work, so don't sign up if you can't handle it.

Hey, I just got hired on as a boatswain. It's my job to keep this boat running ship-shape, so if there's anything that needs to be brought to my attention, ring me over the journal or track me down in person.
